Hotel was perfectly located for our needs. We had easy access to the subway, yet were close enough to the sights, sounds and touristy things that we mostly walked to and then caught the subway back (High Line, Little Spain, Central Park, Times Square, Grand Central, Penn Station, Madison Square Gardens, China Town, Little Italy, Soho, Ground Zero, Battery Park, NY Stock Exchange. The room was super clean, spacious by NY standards and the bed super comfy. Staff were extremely friendly and willing to assist with advice on the best diners, restaurants, eateries, bagels, breakfasts, routes and so the list goes on. The day of our departure was seamless and our cab back to JFK was curb side within minutes of being requested. The doorman is your first point of contact, and they are super friendly and helpful, they certainly made us feel so welcome before we even entered the Lobby. Whilst we never ate in, the menu looked very appetizing, and fare fit for a king. Will definitely be back on my next visit.

The pillows and bedding were super, the mattress perfect, the blackout blinds and drapes worked like a charm, the room and hallway were like an oasis of calm. No noise came into the room at all. In New York! The door man was cheery, attentive and helpful. The front desk was peopled by really fine, efficient and helpful individuals. The women responsible for cleaning, providing toiletries, and towels were attentive, efficient, polite and warming professional. We were rather surprised and charmed by just how perfectly the entire stay unfolded, thanks to the entire staff. My spouse came down with food poisoning and they took care of what was a very stressful and alarming situation. Enough said on that! The locale is great. It's fun to stay in the Village, and the hotel is right next to leafy Washington Square Park. Great location and so much more peaceful and tranquil than Times Square area hotels.

The location was perfect. It was our first time in New York and we are so glad we chose this area to stay in. Greenwich Village is a destination in itself but it was also so easy to travel to upper and lower Manhattan from there and the subway was about a minute’s walk from the hotel.

Helen

Location is perfect , away from mid-town intensity. Plenty of things to do on the doorstep. Hotel staff were helpful and we upgraded rooms halfway through to get better views which the staff arranged quickly for us Also very helpful arranging airport taxi

This is not the first time we stayed in this hotel. It is very nice and its location is great! The rooms and comfortable and clean. There is a coffee machine which for us is essential! The ladies at reception during the day were very nice and helpful.
